European Beauty House is a boutique salon in Ballwin, Missouri, offering high-end hair, skin, nail, and lash services. The in-person experience is refined and personal. Their online presence wasn’t keeping up. We rebuilt it

The Challenge & Goals

European Beauty House was founded by Elena Smilkova, a salon owner from Bulgaria, and is co-run with her daughter Petia, a medical esthetician. They offer precision haircuts, coloring, skincare, laser treatments, and nail services in an atmosphere that feels both serene and sophisticated. This is not mass-market—it’s curated, ethical, and intentional by design.

The Problem vs. The Solution

The former site had no soul—no sense of character or depth. It overlooked the devotion poured into the land, the science, and the ritual. It had to become more than a transaction.

Prototyping & Approval

The project began with a Figma prototype that defined the design, storytelling framework, and key interactions. This allowed the client to explore the navigation, experience the brand’s personality online, and provide feedback prior to development.

Visual Storytelling

The redesigned experience centers on storytelling and clarity. Colors drawn from the natural landscape and ample white space give the content room to breathe. Typography, spacing, and hierarchy were selected to mirror the handcrafted nature of the products.

Navigation & Technical Setup

We improved mobile performance, implemented local business schema, and built editable content blocks for easy updates. The navigation was simplified, and a Google Maps integration was added for easier location access. SEO-ready metadata, headings, and alt text were applied to support relevant search visibility.
