European Beauty House is a boutique salon in Ballwin, Missouri, offering high-end hair, skin, nail, and lash services. The in-person experience is refined and personal. Their online presence wasn’t keeping up. We rebuilt it
European Beauty House was founded by Elena Smilkova, a salon owner from Bulgaria, and is co-run with her daughter Petia, a medical esthetician. They offer precision haircuts, coloring, skincare, laser treatments, and nail services in an atmosphere that feels both serene and sophisticated. This is not mass-market—it’s curated, ethical, and intentional by design.
The previous website didn’t match the brand’s elegance or clarity. It lacked structure, didn’t guide visitors toward booking, and failed to showcase the breadth of treatments available.
Their goals were clear:
We began with a Figma prototype to present the new visual direction, booking flow, and service categorization. The client could navigate through the design as if it were live, allowing them to provide specific feedback before development. Once approved, we moved forward with build-out.
We designed a site that lets the salon’s personality lead. Every page is polished, with staff photos that feel natural—not staged. Menus and service pages guide visitors smoothly from browsing to booking, and the copy reinforces the salon’s refined, personal atmosphere.
We prioritized speed and mobile usability. Booking, training info, services, and portfolio areas are clearly sectioned. Integration with the booking system ensures a seamless reservation process. Calls-to-action were embedded throughout, and SEO foundations—metadata, headings, and structured page architecture—were implemented for local search visibility.
